Okay... i didnt know where to put this, so i put it here. My webhost wont allow filenames that begin with a period. I wanted to create a "protected" directory, and all the google searches that i tried all pointed to the .htaccess and such... Is there any other way to make a password protected directory? (my webhost does have PHP and MySQL)
